I feel like spaghetti is everyone’s go to move. You know what I’m talking about, you just got home, have been running around all day. Don’t want to make mac ‘n’ cheese again. So you decide on spaghetti. But, in the back of my mind when I serve spaghetti I always kind of feel like, “Sorry, I didn’t preplan dinner.” Not with this! My husband actually requests this from time to time. Somehow it just makes spaghetti feel more like a formal meal, and it is so easy!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 2 1/2 cups marinara sauce, divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions
First preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a large pot boil water and cook your pasta. It doesn’t have to be angel hair pasta either, if all you have is spaghetti then do that. Your going to want your pasta to be just a little undercooked because it will finish cooking when you bake it.
Drain the pasta and add back into the pot with 2 cups of marinara sauce. Warm up and pour into 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish (this will make for about 2-3 adults, so if you are cooking for more people double the recipe accordingly).
Flatten noodles and sauce into casserole dish, then top with remaining 1/2 cup of marinara sauce. Cover with shredded mozzarella and then sprinkle italian seasoning over cheese.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Let cool slightly then serve. That’s it! I like to serve with garlic toast to give the meal a little more substance, but do whatever you have time for. Enjoy!!
